What's new

If you could only have 3????

Fairly new to wet shaving and I made the mistake of buying several different soaps without the matching aftershave splashes. So I'm trying to buy some aftershave that goes with several different soaps.

I do have some Acqua Velva and Clubman splashes.

Top three are (at least today):
Barber shop: vintage Avon Blend 7

Don't have any sandal wood, only a shaving soap that I THINK @njpaddy sent me, which is SO awesome....

Free choice is: vintage Avon Spicy

Balm: any hand lotion on the back of the toilet.

1) Epsilon Mediterranean blue
2) Trumpers sandalwood
3) La Toja
4) Nivea sensitive is the only balm I have.

But Trumpers sandalwood seems more like a balm to me. But is sold as an aftershave.

I'll happily eat the same food day after day. I once went an entire semester as a college student eating mac and cheese tuna casserole every day for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and still enjoyed it at the end. But limit myself to only three aftershaves? I don't think I could do that without getting very tired of the smell after a while!

1. Captain's Choice Bay Rum
2. PAA Atomic Age Bay Rum
3. Aqua Velva Ice Blue

Remember to forget me!
Aside from samples, I do only have three aftershaves (plus one balm). I don't really understand the notion of "barbershop", as it seems to mean different things to different people anyway, and don't have a sandalwood per se.

The three I have are Superdrug Forest Fresh (cheapo pharmacy brand), Boots Freshwood (another cheap pharmacy own brand), and a homebrew aftershave with assorted essential oils. As for balm, it's Nivea Sensitive.
