What would be the one or two brushes, razors, creams and fragrances you would buy?

Rod

Creams - 1.) C&E Almond 2.) Taylor/Trumper Rose

Cheers,

Where might someone find a Plisson Brush?

Brush: Simpson Manchurian, preferably a PJ

Razor: Gillette Fatboy

Creams: T&H Ultimate Comfort, Trumper's Violet

Fragrance: Penhaligon's Opus 1870

Right here

Colonial Drug in Boston and (I think) Cambridge Chemists in NYC have them also.

I went into my local AOS store and they had a few Plisson brushes as well, though they were quite a bit more expensive.

Brushes: Pollaro Cocobola and Pollaro Macassar Ebony
Razor: Chronik Straight and Henckels Wedge Blade
Creams: Acqua di Parma, still curious about this one despite the majority of reviews being negative and Herr & Man
Fragrance: More Penhaligons

Razor: the Mammoth Ivory Dovo razor from Shavemac (I want to try a straight and if money is no object might as well try a distinctive one)

The brush and fragrance I haven't really looked much at but I'd probably look into a Manchurian and/or true Silvertip brush that I can't afford right now.

Creams, well, not sure there are so many I still want to try!

Brush: I would find a way to have a Simpson Chubby head (maybe even trying one of those spiffy Manchurian or whatever ones) mounted into a Rakowski or similar custom hand-turned ebony handle. Imagine how gorgeous the white hair with dark base would look in an ebony handle.... drooling....

Razor: Well, I love my #66, and can't really imagine a better DE. But maybe I would obtain a Sticky. (At this point, a true money is no object endeavor).

Creams: Eh, these aren't so awful expensive anyway, but I would get ONE OF EVERYTHING!!!! Or at least the castle Forbe Lime, which I am having a hard time justifying.

I must be plebian, as none of these break the bank, but here goes:

Brushes: SR3322; Shavemac custom 20 or 22 mm silvertip, with extra dense bristles

Razors: Merkur HD; NOS Schick E2

Cream: any thing from Penhaligon's or Floris (I agree that this is one area, where most of us can be indulgent, as the cost per shave is pretty minimal, the issue is how many creams can you afford at once!)

Brushes- Simpson PJ2 or PJ3 in super / SR-3226 in ebony

Razor- Merkur long handle

Creams- Penhaligon's...... all of them

ASB- Harris Milk / Feather ASB

Cheers, DJ.

If money were no object, I would buy Charles (QED) out, and ARKO Inc.

Then all i would need is a Feather AC DX and unlimited supply of blades.
