A sambar stag antler handle, super heavy material, that took a polish very nicely but still has exellent grip even wet and soapy. Knot is a Shavemac 2-band. Craftsman Rudy Vey.

I love the SHD two band badger form Maggard razors. This is a handle I made. I first made the blank out of black linen, polyester resin and aluminum shavings, then turned and finished it.

Simpson Special S1. Ive had synthetics, Ive had badgers, Ive had boars and theres just something about a Simpson. Im now to the point where I have a Simpson Special S1 best badger, another Special S1 in pure badger and a Simpson Wee Scott as my travel brush and I have no desire to even look at any other brushes.
Simpsons just have this old world charm and they do such a great job as making thick, rich lather.
