Identify two British Gillettes

I could use some help. I'm positive the razor in the rear of pic with barber pole handle is a Gillette 66. What is the razor in the front of the pic? I thought it was a 58...but after looking at pics I'm sure I'm wrong. Both are hefty razors and are made in England.

Great razors for the collection. That #66 has some nice heft and is quite the effective razor.

the front one is a rocket hd, if the other one has the same style head as the hd, its a 66 aristocrat.

I don't follow what you are saying about "#'s associated with it depending on the case". I don't have the case for the 66, but I do for the HD Rocket.

If it had a black case with blue felt it was called a #22.

are the 22 and 66 the same razor with a differant case, i am sure its a 66 i have with a kind of snakeskin case.
