I was at my folks' house on Sunday and snapped a pic or two of my great-granddad's straight razor.

The only id on the blade is "Mandarin".

Looks like a keeper

1/4 hollow, shoulderless grind, family history, can't go wrong.

And, as a bonus, your great grandpa appears to have known how to hone, the hone wear is perfectly even.

I believe that it is a German blade too.
