Identification of safety razors

Hi all,

I'm an absolute newbie. Just bought two safety razors for a more skin friendly shave. Wondering if anyone can identify them. Maybe I bought crap.
There are no model or make markings on the pieces themselves.

I hope the pictures are attached.

And I apologize if I posted in the wrong place.

I’m stumped, Mads. You may want to do some digging on ‘Mr. Razor’s‘ website. Regardless of ID, clean them up and enjoy the shaves!

Can't help with identification but the etching on the top cap of the last picture is cool!

Agree, clean them up and use them. You might really enjoy them even if you never figure out what brand they are.

No idea on the first one. With that cap, I wouldn't think it would be a very comfortable shave but you never know until you try it. I don't think I've ever seen one with a gap between the safety bar and the blade like that. I'm sure it won't clog up. Clean it up and give it a try, you might like it.

The second is a nice looking Gillette Single Ring copy, probably made in Germany in the 40's. A lot of the Gillette copies were well made and shave just as well. Clean it up (lots of instructions here on B&B how to) and try it out. Be sure and let us know how it shaves.

Welcome to B&B
