Ideas on sampling Creed fragrances?

I currently wear Creed Vetiver. I've been very satisfied with it, and my wife really likes it on me. But I'd be interested in sampling the other Creed fragrances as well.

Any ideas on how to acquire small samples that one could be very confident to be pure, or from where? I live in Columbus, Ohio, and don't think we have a retail outlet. It doesn't seem like their business web page does samples.

Thanks in advance for any advice...

If you have a Nieman Marcus they should have them there. You could always get samples off of ebay, perfumedcourt, etc... I think Rorschuck on this forum should be able to get you some samples, he would be a good place to start.

We don't have a Nieman Marcus, but I'll check into perfumedcourt. Rorchuck has some, as you mentioned, but I'd prefer to go to one source for all samples to keep it simple. Is ebay a reliable source for colognes, or do you tend to find older or tampered samples?

Thanks again

I'll keep folks posted on where one can find it all...

I've not heard of Creed offering samples, it seems one must purchase them. I wish more houses had an offer like L'Artisan.....they will give you five freebies, you simply pay postage.

Wow! Thanks for such helpful responses, and so many options!

The Badger & Blade community has been such a help. So glad I found this group!

For some reason, the Saks store didn't load when I checked it prior to posting, but it did when I went to your link. Thanks!

Ive got three at the mo - Silver mountin Water, Green Irish Tweed and Virgin Island Water.

I persoanlly like the Virgin Island Water the best - I love the smell of it - reminds of being in Key West slurping on Pina Colada's!!

Silver Mountin Water is nice - very strong, you only need a small spray - the chicks dig it big time (over here in scotland anyway).

Never heard of Creed giving out samples however.

eBay has some fake Creeds, but if it's in the original sample vial with the Creed card, it is probably legit. I would try Green Irish Tweed.

Steve--

I bought a bottle of Creed's Vintage Tabarome from the Saks in Columbus when word got around that it wasn't going to be available anymore. Creed's customer service located it for me and the rep at Saks mailed it. She was very nice and put a bunch of samples in the package (The Creed rep at my local Saks is the same--they are always willing to give quite impressively large samples). Good luck with your shopping--for safety's sake, maybe you should have someone else hold your wallet when you stop in.

No need to warn me about my wallet... I don't spend what I don't have! In a couple of weeks, I'll drop in and pick up the vetiver, and ask for addl samples. If they charge me retail and don't provide samples, I'll walk and buy online at discount...

I don't mind paying full price for retail for full service.

Thanks again all!

I'll give the department store a shot, and if not, then the perfumed court looks like a good option...:001_tongu
