Aluminum Handled (British) Gillette Tech. Very good price. Congrats!

FWIW, I'm thinking now that it's a LUXE which are modern Eastern European Tech knock offs (and IIRC, somewhat more aggressive than Techs).

These razors are quite common in travel kits - and you often see both that style and the ball end style, very sneaky haha.. Saw one in a thrift store today and its really not a bad looking razor
and as long as its an ok price its still a vintage razor worth having in any collection

As Mr.-Razor pointed out above, Techs did not come with post holes in the stage, only an alignment slot for the blade.

No. Im pretty familiar with those. Theyre often in their own little cases with a few blades, im talking about the larger travels sets, with soap and toothbrush boxes and all that gear.. Seen quite few go through ebay over here this last week.. Been close to bidding but then i spotted the studs on the head of the razor

Well, I received this razor today. Sorry, I don't have the means to post nice pics like you guys do but this has turned out to be a "live and learn" disappointing purchase.

The razor is not marked in any way. It is very light and appears to have never been used. It has manufacturing defects on the guard on both sides that make me think it will cause major blood loss. The guards are not straight. both sides look like --_---_-- .

The lower spots on the guard are very slight but enough that I can see the unevenness and be worried about it.

I don't plan to ever use it except maybe for a Christmas Tree ornament.
