I went fishing and caught a very strange fish

Hi Everyone,

I went fishing today, and caught the strangest fish. I have no idea what it is, nor could I find any charts with a similar fish on it. It was caught off North Myrtle Beach, SC. Does anyone know what this is?

Or why would a non-dairy creamer name it's self after a fish that sucks to other fish? That is the question...

Or what do they make non-dairy creamer out of? Maybe the clue is in the name. :scared:

That fish looks like someone left a footprint on its head.

Ewwww, that brings back some bad memories.

Was scuba diving out of Gulf Breeze, Florida in the Gulf of Mexico. Surfaced in a strong surface current that was running a different direction than was at depth, but we were up current from the dive boat. Swam across current to get back to boat.

Missed boat by a few feet.

Panama City...here I come.

About 15 minutes later another diver surfaced right next to me that had also missed grabbing the boat. We were adrift for about 45 minutes on our BCs waiting for the dive boat to get the other divers that were down back on board (some of the divers were on Nitrox).

With us drifting, at a fairly rapid pace, we were getting out of sight of the dive boat...remoras were underneath trying to attach to us.

My thoughts were SHARKS are around.

With the bad visibility of the dive (a hurricane had went through the week before) and missing the boat that was not a good experience.

That is definitely a suckerfish.

I had one of those little guys (about the size you caught, maybe a few inches bigger) attach to me in Pensacola. I got a kick out of it, brushed him with my hand and he was off.
