I want to try something new

After using Swedish Gillettes for quite some time, I'm interested in trying something new. Although they're supposed to be discontinued, they're still available in my lokal supermarked, though in a different packing.

I can use Feathers and get a bbs for sure, but they are still too aggressive for my taste. The Swedish Gillettes are not perfect either, but very close. I'm always heading for a bbs, and shaves every third day. I'm pretty heavy bearded and my weapon of choice is a '56 redtip (what a great razor!) or a slant.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Gillette 7 o'clock SharpEdge (yellow) or Super Iridiums might be a good choice.

Thanks! I think I'll try the yellows. What about Israeli or Derby?

I need something that's smooth but still sharp enough for a bbs.

The Isreali Red Packs or Astras will fit the sharp and smooth bill.
