No, it doesn't smell that bad, but it doesn't smell like it used to for sure. It just smells strange. The performance was still up there and the texture was still soft.
I don't think I did something wrong because I store it with my other creams and these still smell great and fresh. For example, a few days ago, I used a Palmolive cream that I bought in 2014. No changes at all.
Maybe some products don't last that much, even if they're mass produced and not artisan made.
I always tell myself to use more product for my shaves. I already use too much soap or cream, but I have so many that I find it difficult enough to finish them.
