What's new

I tried Aramis

Oh my lord...:lol::lol: It was as if I smelled mold inside of vomit covered with leaves  Thank the lawd it's not required to wear it

I always have a full size bottle of this in my inventory. I have found that mature women recognize the scent and seem to like it as if it brings back memeories of dad or grandad. I kind of like the bold long lasting scent. It's the antithesis of modern day girly smelling men's fragrances.

Agreed. I only keep a bottle for nostalgia. I use it a few times a year for evening activities.

I've got a vintage bottle...don't get mold or vomit, perhaps they reformulated?

Reformulated yes, added mold and/or vomit no. Certainly not as nice now as the vintage juice.

Oakmoss, and the synthetic replacement note, doesn't work well with everyone's skin. Though the OP doesn't state whether the test was on paper or skin. If paper, I would suggest the OP try again. As a wise old man once said, any Scotch is worth at least 2 sips...

I remember sampling some of this stuff at the store and it was terrible!!. Couldn't wait to wash it off and get that funk out of my nose.

To be honest. I don't know how come this stuff is still in production?

Since I quit smoking many thing smell different.

While Aramis and Aramis Havana are complex and I used to like them, I recently tried a spritz and wow, not like I remembered. No, I did not make a purchase.

I would indeed suggest to everyone to try these on you before you purchase. Allow the scent to dry down, sometimes they start out strong and end beautiful.
