For some reason, I was under the impression that Old Type Single Rings were common. If eBay is any indication, however, I was somewhat mistaken. They don't seem to come along all that often. Too bad, I really want one. Oh well. Good things come to those who wait!

The Single Ring is much more common than a Double Ring, but certainly comes up much less frequently than something like a Super Speed or a Tech. You probably won't find many on eBay properly listed, but you'll probably find at least a few at any given time that are mislabeled. However, if you are really wanting a Single Ring, you would probably do much better here. eBay sellers don't know what sorts of issues for which they should examine the razors (i.e. cracks in the handle; bent teeth; plating loss, etc). If you are really wanting to get one, I'd post a WTB (want to buy) ad and see what happens. Good luck on your quest. They are nice shavers.
