I've been giving it my best shot. Taking friends too. This is one of my buddies and he used my .308 to harvest this old cull buck. He dropped it at 179 yards.
Your grouping is sweet. I think that's one thing people forget when they go out for the 1st time each season. Rifles get bumped, vision changes, and Murphy sometimes just decides to tweek things a bit just to ruin our day.

Here's my first deer of the season. That's our ranch hand posing with a management buck from our ranch in South Texas, complete with missing point...he should have heavier horns but this is what a couple of drought filled seasons can do to an old guy like this.
