I splurged this weekend

...and I'm not even ashamed!

I've only been wet shaving for just over a week, and had a tub of TOBS Sandalwood and a few T&H samples. This weekend I found myself in a few local shops and got:

*A tube of Erasmic (£1.50!)
*A jar of St James Cedarwood & Clarysage cream (not sure about the scent in the jar but I can imagine it changing a lot on a warm face)
*A stick of Arko (£2.25!)
*A bowl of Proraso green

I also got a parcel in the post containing a bottle of Honeybee Gardens Bay Rum aftershave, which I'd pretty much forgotten I'd ordered.

I used the Arko this morning and was hugely impressed - an explosion of lather and the smell took me right back to a shave I had in Istanbul earlier this year.

It's just a shame I can only shave once a day

Yeah, I'm still feeling the aftersplurge...bought a sample of Pinaud Clubman this morning. In my defence, it's not something you see in the shops in the UK, so I felt entitled to try it. Somehow.

I remember my early days of wet shaving. Just seven years ago, but far fewer online vendors and artisans to fuel my greedy need for more shave products. My one downfall to this day, however, is that I live withing a very short walking distance of both Pasteur Pharmacies here in NYC.
