I received my first Dovo

Hi gents,

just to tell you that I have received my first straight razor yesterday : a Dovo Astrale

It's quite impressive, of course I have not used it yet as I want to have it honed by a professional, I don't want to make a big mistake by doing it myself ! But I'm looking forward to shave with it.

But at first when I was getting interest in straight razor, I was a little scared and my wife was like "Go ahead, you want to try this, so try it. It won't hurt you that bad !"
But yesterday night, when she saw the blade she does not have the same words anymore

Now while you wait for it to get honed up, you can go out and order 2-3 more straights.......just *in case* you know!

Congratulations. Dovos are quite nice, IMO.

I'm not sure if you know about this yet, but there's a French straight razor Forum Coupe-Chou Club. They might help you find someone local to teach you how to maintain your razor and find you someone to hone it properly as well.

Ask lots of questions, and let us know how it goes
