What's new

I read the reviews, recommendations.....

And apparently completely disregarded them. I wanted a first FP that I could touch before buying, so my options were very limited. I bought a Cross Aventura today, knowing that I can order a converter for it. I like the size, but it could use more heft. It writes very well IMO, and the standard Cross ink that came with it doesn't smear and stain the sides of my fingers (southpaw) as my writing progresses across the paper, nor does it bleed out from my intended strokes even on plain old printer paper.
Now I'm looking forward to getting the converter and some more inks. So you will definitely be seeing more of me here as I'm certain to start craving a vintage pen or two!

Welcome to the Nib! Sounds like you're happy and that's what counts. I don't usually place a whole lot of stock in reviews and recommendations unless a product is completely panned ... I like to try for myself if I can.

I'm sure I speak for other members in that we look forward to answering any questions you may have about vintage pens!
