What's new

I need your opinion.

Last year Levis Made and Crafted did a jean they called Asteroids. It was the shuttle cut in rainbow nep (blue denim with colored flecks). I loved the fabric, but hated the predistressing. I am not a fan of predistressed in general and these were predistressed for someone taller so the markings are not quite right. When I saw a pair on sale for $50 I bought them anyway because I liked the fabric so much.

Now Gustin has the fabric and they would be $99. I own too many pairs of jeans and I am not made of money. Should I:

a) Get the Gustins and donate the LMCs to charity
or
b) Give the demin buying a rest and walk away.

I'm probably starting to sound like a broken record but you won't be disappointed with Gustin. Rainbow nep is their #1 seller IIRC.

It's literal. You'll need to measure jeans that fit you well to determine your literal measurement. Common brands will label something a 32 when the literal measurement is more like 34-35"

On low rises the measurement jean companies give is what the waist would be if the jeans had a regular rise. Generally a 2" difference. 3" if the the jeans were intended to be slacked. I know that Gustin does not do this.
