Mlee, I have a very similar pancake griddle, marked with the number "8" on the same ornate handle, with a "D" moulder's mark. Mine has more history wear on the bottom, and some chipping on the otherwise smooth cooking surface. I have cleaned by electrolysis, but have yet to season it.
I need help identifying a cast iron pan.
