I Need Help Finding a Good Brush For Wool Fat Soaps

Presently I have a Vulfix 2235 super badger and a Mohle “Silvertip Fibres” 33K257 Synthetic and both of them seem too floppy to work well with wool fat soaps though they’re great with creams.
So, I’m hoping to find a brush that has no “scritch,” some “scrub” and good “flow through” with enough backbone to load and lather wool fat soaps and/or other hard soaps. Handle shape isn’t much of a concern though I’m not a big fan of long thin handles and I favor white handles (faux ivory or bone) but handle color is less important than the quality of the business end. As for size – medium is probably fine.
Simpson’s have piqued my interest but I have the impression that some are ‘soap hogs’ (poor flow-through) and some are scritchy. I’ve also read a lot about Rooneys and perhaps that “gel-like” feel doesn’t have enough scrub. My (gasp) upper limit would probably be $250 but under $200 would be preferable if such an animal exists. This may well be my last brush, but I think I’ve said that before about brushes and razors (and obviously I lied, unintentionally of course.)
I've searched the forums before asking a question you all have perhaps seen a thousand times, but I failed to find an answer. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The only brush I have that is crap with MWF is the AOS brush that came in the starter kit. My omega 49, 10275 and 10066, simpson special in pure, whipped dog 22mm silvertip all work great and only have to adjust the time of soap loading to get a great thick/dense/slick lather.

Those brushes will work fine with soaps. Just take some time to wet the surface of the soap, use a modestly wet (not dripping) brush, and start swirling. Add a little more water if a lather doesn't start to form on the surface of the soap, and load for about a minute. Yes, you're overloading, but you can dial back the amount of soap you use once you get your technique down.

When I pull out MWF I use my EJ silvertip, EJ best medium, and Omega 11575. They all work fine. If it matters to you I am 100% face lather fellow.

You're not talking about Classic Brand Wool Fat Soaps are you? If so, any boar brush will produce lather, but it may take an hour or two.

Actually I was, perhaps that's the problem!!! Classic Brand Wool Fat Black Lavender is what I was trying to use. Thanks Oldtrout, I'll try another brand.

The Classic Brand Wool Fat soaps don't produce any useable lather from what I've heard.
Here I was beating myself up because either my technique was wanting (though it was sufficient for other types of soap and of course creams) or my brushes were lacking. So, thanks for your input Lucas, you may have saved me some bucks, naaaaa I just need another excuse to buy a new brush.

Check out Truefitt& hill 1/1, 1/2, 1/3 Rooney rebranded or check out Taylor RT1, RT2 RT3 also rebranded Rooney's. Most expensive will be around 140 dollars before discount with t&h. Taylor does not have a discount. When these are sold they won't be anymore Rooney coming. I believe t&h is out of the 1/2.

There is no "perhaps" about it.
I ended up using my puck of Classic Brand Lavender to defunk a boar brush. I certainly couldn't shave with it.
Then I put it in the shower and used it as bathing soap... only because I hate to be wasteful. It made a terrible bathing soap as well. If only I still shot skeet I might have found a proper use for the stuff.

Of course, YMMV and all.

Thanks Don, your comments sure help resolve the frustration I was having trying to whip up decent lather with that stuff. My mileage didn't vary.
Regards,
Steve
