I miss shaving. :(

My son and I are having a beard growing contest this summer, and at this moment I haven't shaved for 15 days. It is bugging me having a beard, I miss trying to get a nice warm foam whipped up... it is going to be a long summer. I might declare myself a winner so I can shave again.
Just had to vent a little.

I like shaving and like having a beard as well. My compromise is to be clean shaven during the warm months and let my beard grow out when the weather gets cool.

Have considered growing back my chin whiskers in the fall but I seriously doubt I could go that long without shaving. I figured I could stop on 01 October and go to moustache only on 01 January. I'd keep my neck fairly shaved and I may go ahead and do it as the handlebar moustache and a full beard would probably look pretty sweet.

Well it loks like to me that due to the warm weather, the only gentelmenley thing to do, is to put the beard growing contest off until the end of fall......


Or you could just cheat, and shave most pof your cheaks and grow out a huge gotee / beard looking thing, and call it a full beard, while getting to shave every day.

What prompted the contest? I'm at a loss to why you agreed to it, especially during the warmer months. I could never do it. If I could shave twice a day, I surely would. Heck, I get depressed when I get to the BBS stage and still have soap loaded into the brush.
