So far I just did a rough fitting and it's held together by tape. In the final form it will be assembled with food-grade silicone, and placed inside an outer shell made of 3/4" pine (the planks for that are just out of the picture to the right). It's made from 8 pieces of 6x12" marble.
What for? Well of course for making lardo di Colonnata, or a close imitation thereof.
