I am new to the old school shaving world and have been enjoying trying out different kinds and brands of "luxury" creams etc...
There have been a number of brilliant products that I have found on the British high street.
You have your usual suspects like the palmolive shave stick and cream (fan of the stick, but the cream leaves like a bit of friction on my face which I dislike), the nivea post shave sensitive balm and more recently I found my first ever Truefitt & Hill product range, which is the n10 shaving cream in Boots pharmacy.
May I just add that the Truefitt cream is wonderful! Lovely lather, gives a brilliant quality shave. The smell is a little odd, I cant quite put my finger on where I have smelt it before, but the product is a great insight into the quality that brand provides.
The Tesco own brand Israeli DE blades are a bargain too if your desperate for DE blades while travelling etc... and at less than £2 for ten, they might be a bit pricey but still much cheaper than the mass market shaving alternatives. I have not used these blades yet, but people say they are made in the same factories as the PERSONNA blades which apparently are good.
Anyone else got any decent finds they would like to share? Remember to say what country / store you found it in.
