Yes, of course I like Williams. When I start "loving" any soap it will definitely be time to take a break.

What's not to love? It costs a buck it lathers well and smells great.

The plain cheap blue labeled box shows exactly what you will get...a mountain of airy bubbly froth....god-awful stuff.

The wonderfully simple blue labeled box shows an everflowing fount of rich dense lather spilling out of the mug....the froth of the gods.

I have used vintage Williams and really liked it. Maybe even loved it. I have a vintage Williams puck under my sink, maybe I'll get it out and use it for a month or so.

Modern Williams is almost as bad as reformulated English Fern. Truly awful horrible no good stuff.

I love Williams too. I have a couple of vintage ones that are really super. But the current version? It has a place in my heart too. I just can't understand why it gets so little respect. It really is a strong performer. Since it's just Williams lovers in here (no peeking you haters!), I'm sure you all share my suspicions about the reasons why people have trouble getting a good lather out of it.

I would say no, as it is probably the worst tallow based "shaving" soap on the market. However, you can't be a Williams hater without actually trying the soap.
