What's new

I learned how to use my Opus 88

So the Opus 88 pens have a stopper built into the pen that stops the ink from going down the feed.
If this stopper is in the closed position you only have the ink in the nib.
So what do do when writing is to unscrew the stopper a hair (the tail of the barrel has the knob for the stopper) so that air can get into the feed.
By doing this you prevent skipping when writing.

I made the mistake of pulling the stopper way back from the feed and then pushing it back to the feed... this caused ink to shoot all over my hand.

This is such a smooth writing pen, but it has some idiosyncrasies.
