I bought it from Maher last week on the marketplace. Razor is as good as new, which is pretty spectacular considering it is almost 50 years old. I didnt expect the razor to be this slim though, and it comes as a pleasant surprise. I can't wait for tomorrow morning to try it!

Agree with the above, I found it a tad aggressive than the 40's super speeds.
Also I was amazed to see how slim it was after using a merkur and fatboy, looks very nice for a small razor.

I recently received my late 40's Super Speed (I think it is, not sure though) and has my first shave with it today. I heard it was a little more aggresive than the Gillette Tech (I have a "Ball End"), which I've been wanting to use with a Feather for some time now. So I popped in a new Feather blade and had a very close shave with it with no irritation at all. Go, go Super Speed!
