What's new

I just got back

I had some trouble with my computer last week, and the end result was that I needed a brand new computer. Mine was over 10 years old, so I guess I got some good service from it. Anyway I just got a new HP desktop computer with Windows 9 on it, big change from Windows XP. The tech just left after spending some time installing the new one and getting me up and running. This is a big change from what I was used to so I'll probably need quite some time to get comfortable on the new one. Anyway its only been installed for about 20 min., and B&B is the first stop on my getting used to it. Went right here after being off for about 6 days. Good to be back, and lets see how I do getting around this new system. :crying: :001_tongu :w00t:

Tail-tail signs of being a B&B addict. I speak from experience.... :w00t:

BTW, congrats on the new computer. May it serve you well.

I hope the new computer treats you well.

I had a system from 98 running a firewall. Just recently we had a power outage and then it wouldn't turn back on. Didn't waste any time troubleshooting since I had an unused PC from 2003 handy :)

Glad you are back in business. If you had enough DRAM, a windows XP machine would chug along for years. But you must be enjoying the fast load pages as you stroll around the internet.

Good to see you back Paul! Was actually wondering wha thappened to a few people around here. My wife is also hankering for a new computer as this compaq Presario is a clunk'n and banging(hard drive I think) whenver I wake it up. Sounds like a back firing engine.:p
