What's new

I joined the CLUBMAN!

All I can say is this AS is awesome. I forgot how great this smells. I used to use the hair gel that came in a tube some 30 yrs ago when well I had alot more hair LOL. I always loved the scent. What I love also is the staying power this has. I can still smell it 3-4 hrs later. Feels great on the skin. Some al's shave cream,my ikon OC,sharpedge blade, start to finish just an awesome shave. I'm a happy club "man'.

What a coincidence - I bought some for the first time from Sally Beauty Supply last night. I used it with this morning's shave and, without a doubt, it is some great stuff. The SWMBO even positively commented of the "manly yet mellow" scent. That's all the encouragement I need - Pinaud Clubman is a definite keeper.

I've been loving the Clubman lately after taking a pretty long break off it. I put it in an atomizer bottle, really nice.
The hair gel smells great, just didn't work for my hair. Gels usually don't, I just wanted to try it.

I'm a HUGE fan of Pinaud Clubman lotions and love the Original, Classic Vanilla, Special Reserve and VI Bay Rum. As my friend John likes to say: Pinaud Clubman is the "King of Aftershaves".

I use Clubman aftershave quite a bit, and I use the hair gel almost daily now. Really great products that are easy for me to get my hands on when I run low. I really couldn't ask for more.

I love all of the Clubman line. The Bay Rum is a particular favorite of mine during the winter. I know the history of bay rum and all, but it just screams "holiday scent" to me.

Another big Clubman fan here. I've recently been tempted to try the SR, but haven't harnessed the courage yet. I hear it is REALLY strong.

You should try the SR. It REALLY is good! Seriously, I find it a very manly fragrance and to my nose a wonderful mix of leather and tobacco. Excellent.

Original Clubman and Special Reserve are the two that I always take traveling. I never grow tired of either scent and they are both so different that they cover every nuance of scent that I enjoy

Ok, I'm convinced. I will be picking up some SR on my next trip to WCS. Thank you for the wonderful enabling!

Special Reserve is great stuff, but keep in mind it's labeled as an "Aftershave Cologne" and it's pretty strong stuff, so if you slap it on in a generous quantity you may end up clearing out the room! As they say, your mileage may vary but I usually add just a few drops of it to my wet hands before applying and that works well for me.

"I don't know if this one has the courage, Dolworth."

"He wants to, amigo. Maybe he's like me, he's trying to be civilized."

"Civilized? The only things you're interested in are 100 proof women, 90 proof whiskey, 14 karat gold and high octane aftershaves."

"Amigo, you just wrote my epitaph!"

It was the first AS I started with 5 months ago and now nearly 30 additions/addictions/AAD later its still hard to beat. I find having a break from it for a while helps me enjoy it even more. Its winter here and the SR is ON !!!

The Veg is definitely an acquired taste. Make sure SWMBO likes the scent of it or you'll be sitting by yourself for a while.

My votes go to Clubman and Vanilla. Two that will never leave my rotation.

Oh...and when I feel like a glutton for punishment, I pull out the BR. NOT for the faint of heart.
