I've never used a quill pen before. I do see enough goose feathers lying around a local park that I have considered giving it a try. Here's an article on how to go about this:.http://www.regia.org/quills.htm. .It's in 3 parts, the 3rd part being about how to make inks. How did you proceed? Surely you didn't just pick it up off the ground and dip it in the inkwell.
Follow up, I saw a road kill wild turkey today, and I almost pulled over to see if there were any salvager feathers.
Traffic was too much.
See what y'all have done to me....
I think you may be suffering from what is known as
WFAD - Wild Feather Acquisition Disorder.
Unfortunately, I think the only cure is some form of Avian Flu.
it's really weird, but I have my Super Black Eagle, next to the work bench, just in case.
Yep. Unless you're a certified member of a Native American tribe, mere possession of an eagle feather is subject to a fine up to $25,000. Stick with geese or turkeys!Interesting, there is a Bald Eagle that lives in the swamps near my house. But I think requisitioning one of his feathers is a federal offense.
