After all these years I found ipana toothpaste being sold so I bought a tube. I haven't tried it yet. It was going very cheaply and I was looking to buy toothpaste anyway.

I remember this stuff from when I was a little guy - looking for it at Woolworth's & at Kresge's in Plattsburgh, NY c. 1960.
Was Ipana available in a "non-tube" container? A round plastic thingie...? I seem to remember being taken by that, little ad-driven consumer that I was.

In a Pharmacy in Were Street, Montmorency. I drive past there sometimes.

I'll have a look the next time I'm in the area. I think I saw Palmolive shaving sticks in the Milk Bar.
