I don't understand how it feels when my razor is clogged

So, that's a weird question, but how does clogged razor even feel?
I haven't really experienced that problem with any of my safety razors and I was using cartridge razors many years ago, so I don't really remember.
So, my question is how do I know that my razor is being clogged?

It stops cutting as well as before. There's whiskers and lather in the way so you may be tempted to press harder, which is usually a bad thing with DE razors. Rinse the razor before it gets clogged, all will be as it was before.

Not only does it cut poorly, but it's visually apparent when a cartridge razor gets clogged. Also, the closer the blades are together, the bigger the nuisance it is to get it unclogged.

My wallet cries.
For me it just starts sliding and I don't get the same feedback through the handle, and the shaving soap/cream sorta smears on my cheek. It sorta feels like driving in the winter and you get a little wheel slippage and you feel it through the steering wheel, if that makes sense.
