What's new

I can't decide

Ok, I went to Mama Bear's online store. Wow! Lots of chocies. I don't even know where to begin picking, I just want maybe 2-3 soaps (for now). Are there any must haves....go tos.....etc.?

Hey, Tony --

There's been news today that "Mama Bear" Sue's dad had a stroke, so you may want to hold off for a couple of days since she's taking care of him right now.

Last week I got the English Leather, Elements of Bamboo, Red Bob's The Dog's Bollocks (a custom issue), and the Rosemary Mint. She also kindly threw in a sample of her Indian Sandalwood.

My favorite is the Rosemary Mint, which is made with all-natural essential oils. It's cooling and brisk. Many of the others are made with fragrance oils (FOs), which contain synthetic scenting agents. They can smell quite nice, but there can be a slightly artificial quality to them if they are very strong.

The English Leather smells just like the classic after shave, so if you like that, definitely check out the soap. The scent will stick with you, too.

The Elements of Bamboo is a fresh contemporary kind of scent that smells kind of like "rain," but with some green notes and maybe a little ginger in there, too.

I don't know if the Red Bob's is available any more, but it's a suede/musk/vanilla sort of scent that's nice.

I haven't used the sandalwood sample yet, but it seems on the sweet side.

I've heard good things about the Spicy Lime, but I haven't tried it.

Let us know what you pick!
Doug
