I Believe I Have Been Converted

I used my newly arrived tub of Spencer & Devon Unscented Shaving Cream this morning and all I can say is "What's this, only three seconds and my bowl is overflowing with lather?" It took no effort, it lathered like I've nothing else I've used, it worked great and it left my skin feeling pretty darn good " I'm ordering another tub and I put all my soaps away, well, at least for now.

It may be the best cream I've ever used based on how kindly it treats my overly sensitive skin, and tames coarse, angry stubble. I'm also a fan of the Sagebrush scent.

I saw the post that the S&D was on sale at Bull Goose and went straight away to place an order. Of course I had to add a few extra items.


I tried it this morning. Great performance and the spice scent is very nice. To me it smells like rye and grand marnier with a few dashes of bitters. (and now I am thirsty)

One question: The product does seem to be separating a bit. There is a small pool of oil (i'm guessing). Will this just mix back in with a quick stir?

Talk about reading my mind! I was going to start a thread about the S&D Sagebrush. I don't want to say it's best lathering cream I have... but I will!

I have been searching for a high quality cedar/pine scent for a while and although I am a diehard QCS fan, I was a bit disappointed with the weak scent of Celestial Woods. It's a dead ringer for a fresh pine forest, but the scent is really, really faint in the tub I have, so I broke down and ordered the Sagebrush this morning.

ODJ, you should contact QCS (they may have contacted you already). I had mentioned in a post, that I found their scents a bit weak. I was PMed by QCS very shortly thereafter. They told me they can bump up the scent strength if you request it. Their customer service is top notch.

Yes, matt has told me that in the past. I may do that in the future, but for now I have enough QCS to last me many, many years to come! The only thing I will need to re-order from them in the somewhat near future will be a replacement for my Mysore Sandalwood, which is about empty. One of my favorites!
