I am back and DE shaving again

Hello everyone, long time no type. Well my arm after fracturing my elbow is doing fine now after many weeks. I am almost done with therapy and all is going ok. During that time I have been shaving with disposable Bic single blade shavers or twin blade Gillette Goodnews. I have mainly been using KMF without a brush just to make thing easier.
Now I am back and I am enjoying a quality shave again. I am using my favorite razor and brush and it is soooo nice. My favorite DE is my Lord Merkur Tech and my best badger brush. My origional thoughts on Williams are still true for me....it is junk. LOL My two favorite soaps right now after getting back in to wet shaving are Arko shave stick and VDH deluxe. The quality of the shave with a DE is just so much better and far more enjoyable. I am glad to be enjoying shaving again.

Welcome back. Sometimes a break, no pun intended, from something makes one realize how good something is.

I've never tried back shaving and with a DE I imagine it would be tough.

Welcome back. I love Arko and VDH as well. I get a much bigger kick out of using an inexpensive product that works just as well as the big boys than using the best that money can buy.
