I found this website info on Hoyt's Cologne that is very informative as to it's history. Maybe someone else will find it interesting also.

I also use Hoyt's cologne occasionally and enjoy it's scent. I didn't know of it uses until I read this article.

Thanks for sharing that link. It is indeed still pronounced "Hertz Cologne" by a lot of older black folks here in the south.
