how to remove a blade from a Type I injector?

I picked up a Schick Type I injector razor that still has a blade in it. How do I remove the blade? I don't have injector blades. I want to remove the old blade to clean it.

you will have to carefully try to push it out with some device like a screwdriver. Once the blade is out a bit you can pull it all the way out with some pliers.

The best way (for cleaning as well) is to get yourself an injector
cartridge. Insert the key into the razor & slowly begin to push
a new blade in until the old blade starts to push itself out.
When enough of the old blade is exposed grab a pair of pliers
(rather than your fingers) & just pull the old blade out.
Remove the key form the razor & carefully push the new blade
back into the injector chamber.

On a note having the key inserted while cleaning pushes the head
backwards & this will allow you to clean the razor more thoroughly.

Here's what worked for me after destroying several injectors while trying to clean them. I use sandwich toothpicks that are stronger and wider than toothpicks. Start by CAREFULLY inserting the toothpick where the key goes in, it will open the side up and you can push the other one in. You can take one side out at a time and clean. Here is an attached picture to show the Toothpicks in. I found cleaning this way really gets the injector open and removes all that gunk in the back.
