How To Drill Scale Pin Holes Exactly The Right Way?

The couple times I’ve made scales I used this guy with my Dremel. I avoided having to buy a whole new tool and was able to use the dremel I was already using.

That’s what I use too. Dremel with a cut off wheel to cut out the scales, then switch to a sanding drum to shape. Lots of hand sanding. Then back to the dremel press for the holes.

Fumbling about.
Drill the holes first. That way if you break the scales or ruin the drilling you haven't done all that work sanding for nothing.

That's about all I actually know about drilling.

Happy shaves,
