I would prefer to double everything meaning 2 brushes, 2 SC's, 2 ASB's, 2 soaps.....etc etc

Do the 7 large glass bottles of Aqua Velva Ice Blue sitting in my freezer count as greed? What about the two bottles of AV Musk sitting right next to them? Certainly not! I'm just being prudent, given the closeness of the Aqua Velva plastic bottle shavepocalypse! What about my drawers full of other AS's and colognes, creams and soaps? ...Or my ever-growing collection of razors and blades, and my 4 brushes (soon, I'm sure, to be 5: I've got to try a good boar)?

No I say; NO!! This is all extremely prudent and frugal purchasing - either ensuring a full supply of quality shaving goods in the event of the inevitable nuclear war soon to be upon us or a highly-selective scientific experiment in finding the absolute PERFECT setup, which (once found) will mean an immediate offload of every single non-essential product onto the BST.

With all of the different products out there, you will never have enough. but its a good thing that ther are so many options, the bad part is, that it is hard on the wallet when your trying everything to see what works. but i think trying different stuff is what makes it fun!

Let's see.. I have 21 razors, 3 brushes, 6 creams, 3 soaps, 2 AS's 2 Balms... and I'm just getting started. You get the things you need to get you by. That's all. Then you replace the things to get you by with nicer things, because you're getting better and gosh darn it, you deserve it. And lets face it, how can you make informed decisions regarding the absolute best shave routine for you unless you try absolutely everything out there, multiple times.

You're just doing what you are obligated to do. That's all.

I have tried really hard to keep 1 or 2 razors, 3 creams and soaps with the matching aftershaves for each scent.

I have decided to keep 2 brushes and only have 1 atm, time to shop lol. I really like looking at all of the nice shave dens but I can't bring myself to buy that much stuff.

I guess I agree with HIT, 2 of everything and I'm good.

I subscribe to the "different is good" theory, and that's one of the justifiable reasons I have probably 30(or 50) different cigars resting comfortably in my humidor. Will I do the same with razors? Uh, take a guess! On a side note, I have been happy with the one woman I have called my soulmate for 34 yrs., so it's all good!

Exactly why I have duplicates of shaving items; especially razors that are not made anymore.

After about two month of DE shaving and little more than one month at B&B I'm at 3 razors (4 more in the mail), 2 brushes (on more ordered), several soaps and creams, two aftershaves.
And I'm still having so much fun trying. :-D

Yeah - It's safe to say that I will be done acquiring stuff pretty shortly. I got a custom handle coming from Bob's Razor Works that should put an end to my RAD... well, for a bit
