1/2" or so. It really depends on the cut of the jacket and that particular shirt. If wearing French cuffs, a bit more can be shown.
When I voted it took me to a different thread. If you want to split hairs, you actually have your jackets cut based on what they are for. For example, business suits should be cut to show about 1/2 inch regardless of whether the cuffs are french or not. Dinner Jackets (Tuxedos) show more, say 2/3 of an inch, and sport coats show the most.
