How many times a week can you shave ATG with your straight?

I never shave ATG, just WTG/XTG/XTG.
Unfortunately, I've never been able to acheive ATG with any razor, be it 2-blade, 3-blade, DE, or any kind of straight. I don't mind, though. I get a DFS every day so I'm happy.

5-7 times per week. Sometimes I like to let the stubble grow out a bit just so I have extra hair to shave off the next time. I also find that my prep routine works even better with 2-3 days growth. Don't know if it just allows the hairs to absorb water easier or what, but it's great.

Wow. See that's one of the big reasons I wanted a traditional straight razor. You guys can shave ATG everyday and I can only shave ATG once with my disposable.

Uh, technique trumps tools every time. You can go ATG twice a day with a shavette...... IF your technique and prep is 100%.

With my technique, never. Too much irritation no matter how careful and light my strokes are.

R&B, dunno if you've been @ this long enough to judge this for yourself. Most accomplished users can do it every time.

Some cannot, no matter the prep or the blade.

Focus on success with the other styles of passes for a bit and I bet it'll come naturally without fanfare sooner than you think.

zero..my wirey stubble just doesn't allow it. i can do quite aggressive XTG though.
