I get a little over a month out of a VDH soap. Probably 40/45 shaves from it. Just got some Arko and it looks like that is going to out last a month by alot. So my question is how many shaves do you get from your soap and or your creams?
I have almost always swapped around between several choices, even when almost all were just one or another pressurized can of foam or gel. I stopped relying on those a year ago, but the VDH deluxe puck that was already on hand then for the once a week "not modern" shave isn't used up yet. (And I've started on a puck of VDH "Select" also -- *it* does seem slower to show any reduction in size than the deLuxe is.)
Since I rotate soaps, I have no idea how long different ones last. I once used the same puck of AOS soap to shave every day until it was gone. It lasted for nine months.
I've never been organized enough to keep track. However, as a true cheapskate, I have noticed that the products I don't care for, but feel obligated to use up, seem to last a particularly long time. Conversely, the stuff I really like never lasts long enough.
I don't really know - I'm rotating 4 creams. I can tell you the CF seems to last forever (but it comes in a large tub). CF is my main cream and in 6 months I'm half way through.
