How many shaves do YOU get from a Feather?

I have a coarse beard and sensitive skin. Thus, I need my blades to be both sharp and smooth. While Feather blades fulfill these requirements quite well for two shaves, I can seldom get through the third shave before the blade starts to feel harsh.

With most other blades, I can get three shaves and sometimes four, so Feather blades just are not cost effective for me. There are some blades that are simply not sharp enough to use for a single shave: Derby Extra, Shark Super Chrome, Merkur, VDH and likely a few others I have not tried. I can shave with Astra SP, but they are not sharp enough for a close, comfortable shave.

2 and done with Feathers and 3 with most everything else. I dry the edge after each shave.

3 or maybe 4. The first one is really, really harsh. But, not nearly the performance or number of shaves that I get from the russian Gillette products.

3 with a less-than-stellar 3rd. Exceptional blade for the first 2. Most blades only last me between 2-3 shaves though so it's an acceptable blade for me, even at 30 cents a pop.
