my brain goes "thonk"
After I put my aftershave balm on, I'll rub my face to see if I feel any whiskers and then I'll run my razor over the spots I found whiskers. I was just wondering how many of you guys do the same.

I'm a Lumberjack.
I don’t. I usually over use splash. And then call it quits.
I never use a blade on my face after putting a splash or balm on. My last touch ups, if any, will be before the final rinse with cold water if I noticed any areas that i missed.

Nope. I do 3 passes and touch up my neck. If I miss anything, it waits until the next day.
I do not, but I do get annoyed when shortly after shaving and I'm at work with my chin resting on my hand, and I feel a patch that I missed!

No, I don’t chase BBS just a good shave. No.
Nope. Two SR passes, water, done. Don’t like any other product on my face. Close, but no BBS, no problem.

I do not do that. The usual areas still have some something. I let it go at this time.
If I miss a spot, I try to remember that for the next time. Gradual improvement, but trying for a close shave, not to chase BBS. The best BBS shaves are "accidental".
I do this, but it never seems to work as well as getting it right the first time.
As a final step to the shave use the remaining soap to wash your face, feel around for any remaining stubble, and go over the area if necessary-then continue washing your face.
Nope, I’ll get them tomorrow or the next day or the next. Btw, I have never found a whisker longer than 1/8” that I didn’t want.
Nope. Once the AS or balm goes on, I'm done with it for the day.
Yeah, it should be the final step unless your really missed something that stands out like a sore thumb.

I chase dfs no bbs so unless it is really visible it’s good enough to wait until the next time.
Yeah, it's not worth the nicks, irritation, and extra time.
+1! Once the splash goes on, that’s it for me!!
Two passes typically, sometimes a third, but once I've applied my AS, that's the end of the shave for me.
I rinse off the lather after 3rd pass, then run my finger to trace any stray whisker, then I use the lather from the brush to shave them off in touch-up pass.
After that, either aftershave balm or lotion.
What's done is done, no more attempt to hunt down every whisker, and mind you I'm quite particular about getting BBS every time.
Sometimes, a hair or 2 just escapes the onslaught, and I consider it has earned the right to be on my face for another day.
