How long will soaps be good for?

I realized I've had more of an interest in soaps since my wet shaving beginning. I've been wet shaving about 2 months and I have the green, white and red proraso tubs of soap, half a kg of cella, mystic waters lavender in a jar and i want to get some aos sandalwood and tabac in it's little bowl is going to get ordered asap (really want to try it). the cella is in a little tupperwear container with air tight lid and the rest is double or triple zip-locked and it's box in a cool dry spot in the basement. I'm starting to realize I probably have at least 2-3 years worth of supply already, now I'm wondering if any of it is going to go bad? How long will these products usually last in the containers they come in?

I keep all of my soaps and creams in the freezer until it is their turn to be used. I have never had a problem.

From what the artisan soap makers have said, most soaps should last anywhere form 10-30 years depending on the ingredients used. Creams have a much shorter lifespan. i don't use creams, so i can't help you there.

so in other words in 12 months i'm not going to open up a proraso or tabac in their oringinal containers and they'll be rancid and/or dried out? sounds good to me!
