How long for a typical leisurely shave?

This morning I timed myself. It took 23 minutes. That included assembling my shaving gear. Drawing warm water. Washing and rinsing my face. Soaking my brush and soap for one minue. Lathering. Doing a quality 3 pass shave. Rinsing and drying my face. Releasing the water. Drying my shaving equipment and drying the wash basin and tile counter. Applying after shave. And putting my shaving gear away.

23 minutes. How does that compare with your regimen?

Sounds about right from start to finish. Can take me a bit longer if I use my alum block (which I have been lately) and also use some balm since the air is drier. Perhaps an extra 5 minutes or just less.

20-30 minutes depending on bowl or face lather building. More to clean up and put away when using a bowl or scuttle.

I can do 3 passes in 10 minutes if I need to, but I prefer a more leisurely pace, 15-20 mins. plus clean-up time, which is why I usually shave at night.

I'm about 20-25 minutes which is no biggie since i shower and shave after work. I'm a mechanic so it makes no sense to shower in the morning before I get dirty lol.

20 minutes or so for me. This morning I bowl lathered CO Bigelow so that adds a couple of minutes with the lathering and extra cleanup.

35-40 but that includes a head shave (with an electric) and a shower. It would be 20-25 for the shave alone. The shower allows quite a bit better prep (wash face with washcloth, hair conditioner). I also take extra time once out of the shower (soap up with MR GLO, then with the softening water off the puck).
The prep seems over the top as I write it, but this effort has resulted in MUCH closer and more comfortable shaves for me.
Cheers.

Usually about 30 minutes but I'm still trying to find my "groove". I deliberately tried to go faster one day to see what I might do if time were short and got a fine shave in about 15 minutes which included clean-up.

Same as the rest..15 to 20 minutes with a DE or SE. When I go with my Feather SS though...things take a LOT more time - no fault of the razor, just my lack of ability.
