How does one pronounce "Tabac" in american?

It's spelled "tabac" but it's pronounced "throatwarbler mangrove".
Yes, the hro, twar, ler, m, ngrove and c are silent.

In German, it would be pronounced "tah'-bahc". The a's would be as in "father" and there would be a slight emphasis on the first syllable.
