How Does A Wilkinson Super-Sword Compare?

I found a pack of Super-Swords in an antique store and thought I’d give them a try.

It appears that they’ve been long discontinued. They look like they’re plain stainless without a coating.

Does anyone know how they’d compare to a blade that’s currently available

I have some and like them, they seem to provide a good life for me.
I assumed they are coated, hence the "should not wipe" warning.
Not as sharp as some but a great serviceable and durable blade.
Made in England.

Congrats on the find, enjoy!

Bumping this as I finally got around to trying some I got in a lot. Definitely not as sharp as some sharp modern blades but a solid upper middle tier blade (modern 7 O’Clock yellow scale). Fairly smooth if I go slower and forgiving. Not my personal preference in sharpness but definitely good for a lot of people. Probably would have been good for me prior to hitting 35 years old.

Was expecting to bin them but pleasantly surprised. Will make its way into a Fatboy tomorrow for a more aggressive shave.
