How do you lather Col Conk lime soap?

Had a chance to try this today. I tried bowl lathering as per the main tutorial here and did not get a thick lather out of this soap. Tried the Marco method also which I think is intended more for Italian croap type soaps, but that did not work either. Sure there is lather, but it's not comparable to Cella/TOBS which I'm used to. I think I will have no choice but to superlather with something else I am trying to whittle down such as some Nivea cream i have.

I had tried Col Conk Bay Rum and found that it lathered better than the Lime.

Compared to those two, it will never be sufficient. Conk performance wise is bottom tier for me, and once you try other soaps like the ones you have mentioned, you have no reason to go back imho. The best lather I got from my experience with Conk was to let the soap soak for a bit before lathering, then use a stiffer brush to grab more of the soap as you build the lather. For me the lather was never great, but sufficient enough for an OK shave. I think at this point, I personally would super lather the heck out of it. I do like the smell of Conk soaps, but using alone these days for me doesn't happen. Super lather the lime with Kiss My Face Key Lime if you have it available. They go good together.
