How do YOU describe Knize Ten?

I've found a few opinions and a review here for Knize Ten. I have a sample enroute, but I am very curious to know the opinions you may have from using this scent.

Merci en avance,

Chris

Knize Ten seems to be one of the most polarizing scents- you either love it or hate it. I love it.

It starts out slightly sweet and then dries into a nice leather. Some days I get some frankincense. It is totally unique. You will not find another fragrance like it. Some say it is the gentleman's fragrance. I agree.

It is fantastic, challenging... wonderful, wonderful stuff.

It takes many other classic leather scents by the scruff of the neck and shakes them till their eyes rattle. Only when they plead for mercy are they let go to skulk back to their dim little dens.

It works for me.

...of course, all that YMMV stuff pertains.

Go for it. Enjoy it. LIVE IT.

Favored by James Dean, David Niven, .... Seemingly
near impossible to source,... Especially ancillary product lines such as the aftershave and shave soap. I got both the leather and the burnt rubber when I sampled it a ways back... I'd still delve into it when a quality vendor finally gets his hands on products.

What?

It's a fantastic scent, wore nothing else for over 25 years! If I had known, I could have included a sample in my last shipment to you!

Exactly! It's not for the faint of hart and you can even get a half day with a good amount of the splash.

I absolutely love it and can not get enough of it. My favorite description was Henry's; "It smells like an Austrian night club."

Wow. 13 posts in about an hour and a half. If anything, it certainly engenders some strong feelings.

Rudy, not to worry, and I'm working through the decants you kindly sent me, thanks again,

Chris

Getting a sample is an excellent idea.

I have about 1 oz of some of the older 1990s version and wear it once in a while in the coldest months. The opening is very aromatic and quite distinctive. On me the drydown can go two ways - a nice mellow vanilla-leather or a nasty horse-**** leather. It is quite random how it turns out so it's not a good pick for a first date.

A must try but not necessarily a must own IMO.
