Yep, I've found this applies to just about everything.
Oh yes. Believe it or not shaving was possible before the Internet.
I used GFT Sandalwood cream today. Normally, I use soaps. I realized that when I loaded the brush and face lathered the lather was too dry. I had to did the ends of the brush in water to make it better.
I either vsoak a badger or dip a synthetic, then tap the brush against the side of the sink, followed by shaking to remove as mush water as possible. I put a dab of cream into the bowl, swirl around with the barely damp brush, then add a few drops of distilled water from a water bottle with a squirt top. By adding a few drops, then swirling the brush, I can build a perfect lather every time without worry of needing more product to counteract too much water.
